New Minimum Daily Wage Rates in Thailand

The Wage Committee has announced updated minimum daily wage rates for unskilled workers across Thailand, effective from July 1, 2025. These rates vary by province and district, ranging from 337 to 400 Baht per day. The details are as follows:
The minimum daily wage rates increase to 400 Baht per day cover for these categories:
- All businesses in Bangkok.
- Nationwide: Category 2, 3, and 4 hotels excluding Category 1 hotels with ≤50 rooms.
- Entertainment venues e.g., nightclubs, pubs, bars, massage parlors, karaoke venues selling food, alcohol, or beverages.
- Other districts and provinces remain the previous rate has announced (No. 13), effective on January 01, 2025 including 4 Provinces: Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Phuket, Rayong and 1 district: Koh Samui District, Surat Thani (specific to this district only).
Employers and employees across all sectors in Thailand should be aware of these new rates to ensure compliance with the law.
